CheckIn-IL is committed to making the site accessible to all users, including people with disabilities, in accordance with the Israeli Equal Rights for People with Disabilities Law (1998) and the Accessibility Regulations for Service (2013).
Last updated: April 17, 2026
We place great importance on providing an equal, high-quality, and accessible service to all our users. The site was built with accessibility principles in mind, and we continuously apply improvements to maintain a high level of accessibility.
Where elements are found that are not fully accessible, we work to correct them as soon as possible.
The site has been made accessible in accordance with:
Israeli Standard 5568 for web content accessibility, Level AA.
W3C WCAG 2.1 guidelines, Level AA.
Equal Rights for People with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013.
Support for screen readers, keyboard navigation, and enhanced contrast.
A self-hosted accessibility widget is available on every page via the circular accessibility icon in the corner of the screen. The widget runs entirely on the client and offers:
Text size adjustment in four steps (up to +30%)
Three contrast modes: default, high contrast, and inverted
Grayscale mode for users sensitive to color
Link highlighting with underline and dashed outline
Heading highlighting (H1–H6) with colored outline
Readable font swap (Segoe UI / System UI)
Large mouse cursor
Animation and transition pausing (respects prefers-reduced-motion)
Increased line spacing
Increased letter spacing
Reset all settings to defaults
Despite our efforts to make all pages accessible, certain third-party components may not fully support every accessibility option: embedded Google Maps, payment and external form iframes, and extended search widgets. Other parts may also not yet be fully accessible. If you encounter difficulty, please contact the accessibility coordinator and we will address it.
The site supports full keyboard navigation (Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, Escape, arrow keys), including a 'skip to main content' link exposed on first focus. All forms include named labels, every icon-only button exposes an aria-label, and every modal traps focus and closes on Escape. Alongside web accessibility we strive to provide accessible service through all other channels.
The site is compatible with the following environments, based on use of semantic HTML, standard ARIA attributes, and keyboard navigation:
Browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari (latest versions)
Operating systems: Windows 10+, macOS 13+, Android 12+, iOS 16+
Resolutions: 320px up to 4K
Screen reader support via standard ARIA attributes (behavior may vary between readers; end-to-end testing with NVDA/JAWS/VoiceOver has not yet been fully completed)
Encountered difficulty using the site? We appreciate your feedback and will make every effort to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
