6 The Golan offers Israel's most dramatic landscapes — Hermon slopes in the north, red volcanic ridges, Golan streams and cool summer temperatures. Golan zimmers are famous for window vistas, boutique wineries, long trails, and Hermon winter skiing.
How do we sort results?
Spring (Feb-May) for blooms, pleasant weather and green trails. Autumn (Oct-Nov) for wine harvest. Winter for Hermon snow. Summer is cooler than the rest of Israel and good for hiking.
Intimate zimmers in Golan villages (Mevo Hama, Ortal, Had Nes, Natur) with jacuzzi, Kinneret or Hermon views, and proximity to wineries. Filter by 'For Couples' or 'Romantic'.
Mt. Hermon gets deep snow every winter with skiing Jan-Mar. The northern Golan (Masade, Majdal Shams, Nimrod) sees occasional snow. Southern Golan (Mevo Hama, Hamat Gader) — rarely.
Golan Heights Winery (Gamla farm), Assam (Katzrin), Odem, Golan and Pelter. Many offer tours, tastings and discounted purchases.
